The wedding was perfect and two weeks in hawaii was amazing! I am the luckiest man in the world to be able to marry my best friend and my better half. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me and a constant source of inspiration and motivation. I <3 her! My only advice is that when you find someone that motivates you to be better in every aspect of your life, can make you smile everyday, and who is there for you no matter what the situation, hold onto them and never let them go!
We had a very small ceremony next to the beach in Kona and attended a luau after. The food was freaking amazing but 2/3 of the was through the luau it absolutely down poured rain on us. We got completely soaked in our wedding clothes. I thought it was hilarious but others didnt think it was as funny as I did. To the Hawaiians rain is a blessing, so I took the whole ordeal as a blessing to an already very blessed wedding.
While there I drank an obscene amount of Mai Tais, pina coladas, and Kona coffee. We hiked, photographed, parasailed over the humpback whales, snorkeled in amazing reefs with lots of sea turtles, and did a helicopter tour of kuaui. The whales were constantly breaching ever day on both islands were we on and it was great to just lay on the beach and watch them. It was the best two weeks of my life!
Also, while there my best friend/best man got engaged and my wife's sister got engaged. I think we started a trend haha!
Photographing in Hawaii was a real treat as well. It is the exact opposite of the Sierra so shooting there was a nice challenge but I think I came back with some great images, some I have already posted, some are still on the way. Ill probably post another tonight actually.
Thanks again to everyone for their kind words in my last journal. Hope you all have a great weekend!

I am glad you had a good time and good food
