Yosemite Lightning Strike by =narmansk8 Noland's photography is always some of the best and this shot is certainly a highlight in his gallery, it is also currently competing in the Outdoor Photographer Magazine "Favorite Places Photography Contest" where it ranked #1 in the running. It is shots like this that ever nature photographer lives for, and shots like this, that most of us will only ever dream about getting! (Suggested by *Nzeman and Featured by ^kkart)

This is an awesome photo, so dark and mysterious with just the right amount of detail. It reminds more of the background in a Leonardo di Vinci painting the a photo. Nature at its most magical best. I just love the hint of rainbow too. Absolutely brilliant.

Wow, that's amazing. I love the colours and lighting! That is cool how dark and mysterious it is in the back and then the sunlight. Great pic!
