When I first arrived at the Grand Tetons I was disappointed to find that the mountains were completely shrouded in clouds. I could not see a single peak. Despite the current conditions I decided I would still try and photograph the classic Snake River Overlook. To my surprise at sunset the Grand Tetons peak decided to reveal itself for only a few moments right at the height of sunset. As the sunset light dissapeared, so did the peak once again behind a thick layer of clouds.
