Moonlight Falls in the High Sierras.

Because of a very stormy June there is so much water in the Sierra backcountry which means 3 things:

1. The waterfalls are absolutely fantastic right now
2. The wildflowers are better than I have ever seen
3. MOSQUITOS. Like you couldnt even imagine! It is pure torture back there right now!

But I would brave that miserable hike through billions of mosquitos any day to get shots like this.

Nolan, you suck, and you suck really hard too, I hate you.

Now that being said, dude honestly, this is one of your damn best shots and should be a textbook shot for a cover shot of Outdoor Photographer. Honestly man....you nailed this, like crazy mad!

So I am going to nit pick this hardcore like =jayshree on a street corner! lol (Wait she is in Puerto Rico isn't she lol We'll show her when she is back...better bring us all back some Rum too, to drink in the APN chat!)

The waterfall is a tad hot, you know what though, I could care less, I like it. Slight glow from "What's a Polarizer" in the sky...ya know what though? I could care less,I like it.

Seriously Nolan, I don't know what to tell ya, it is utterly smoking hot....really butt kickin'. Now go drink some more beer damn it!

TOOO FREAKIN COOL!!! Skeeters, yep, no fun...just swatted one in my face, 1 down....4,546,787,296,403,058,573659,007 to go. Looks like a great hike. And your right, whats a pint of blood for a picture like this...just makes you treasure it all the more lol. Great pic.

composition is utterly fantastic. my only complaint is the light balance. i feel it would be even more powerful if the right was dark and the waterfall area (left) was brighter to bring more focus to it. but man this image is amazing .... great job man, seriously!

This photo reminds me of a land now forgotten. I love it! One of your best photos that I have seen and you have a lot of amazing ones! The colors in this are amazing. Also, I really enjoy the feel of the waterfall... :)
