Mono Sand Tufa by narmansk8 Mono Sand Tufa by narmansk8
The ever so delicate Sand Tufa of Mono Lake. These brittle structures can crumble as easy as a sand castle. It is suprising that they are still standing.

Mono Lake, Eastern Sierras, California.

I love Mono Lake, it has such an otherworldly character to it. The picture does a good job of capturing that.

I have missed being stimulated by the art of dA and most specifically yours. This is captured perfectly with the delicacy coming through the image, no need for description. Brilliant.
