The ever so delicate Sand Tufa of Mono Lake. These brittle structures can crumble as easy as a sand castle. It is suprising that they are still standing.

I love Mono Lake, it has such an otherworldly character to it. The picture does a good job of capturing that.

Thats cool...how tall are they? The look like they could be like 1' to 100' tall :)
I like the bluish tint too.
