After a brief hiatus from the dA community, my very close friend Ben is back with a new account and new photos.
Before I post some of his new work here in my journal, I would just like to say a few things about Ben. A few years ago, when I first started to take an interest in photography, Ben was one of my main influences who pushed me to get a camera and start shooting. He saw something in me, unknown to me at the time, and inspired me to pursue my artistic endeavors. Not to long ago we created Prolific Photography and Imagery (no longer exists) which was a collaborative website with Nick Johnson

, Tyler Core

, Benjamin, and myself featuring a variety of photography and digital art. While developing this site I learned alot about web design from Ben and we both learned alot about photography and how to present and market it online. Since the first day I moved into my apartment and he brought up a case of beer to welcome me in we have been very good friends. We have gone on countless photography trips together in the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho and the desert canyons of Utah and have spent an untold amount of time debating the inner working of the mind and universe and laughing until we just cant breathe anymore. We have both watched each other as our style and direction of photographing the landscape has evolved and has become what it is today.
Benjamin is not only an incredibly talented landscape photographer, but also a very talented musician, writer, poet, painter, philosopher, web designer, observer of the worlds, and artist in general. He is the type of friend who will stand by you through thick or thin, one you can count on in any situation, the kind of person that you just dont meet often in the world anymore. I owe alot to this individual who has helped shape me into the artist and man I am today.
So without further adieu, I present once again Benjamin

I highly suggest you add him to your watchlist and check out his photos and get to know him a bit. He is only going to keep getting better and better. Show him some love!
Benjamin, now get your ass down here so I can show you what the Sierras are all about! haha Miss you bud.
